When it comes to building a #big #strong #back with healthy shoulders the close grip row is a go to movement for packing on #sizeandstrength.
When competing in combative sports such as #wrestling and #jujitsu the close grip row mimics the motion of back control when holding someone in place. This movement is quintessential for strengthening the back in sport specific movements.
Note that the narrow grip will tax the long head of the biceps a bit more than the short head which is perfect for combative athletes.
